MP Jo Johnson secured as guest speaker at 2019 AM100 Dinner

Jo Johnson MP

Conservative party MP Jo Johnson will entertain guests at this year’s AM100 Dinner after dealers hear about the latest industry profitability trends.

Johnson, who was Minister of State for Transport until November 2018, will follow on from the revealing of the 2019 AM100 list of the UK’s largest franchised dealer groups, and the presentation of three new industry awards: Best Financial Performance, Unsung Hero and Rising Star

The younger brother of Brexiteer Boris Johnson, Jo Johnson quit his ministerial post last November, citing the failure of the Brexit negotiations to achieve what had been promised by the Vote Leave campaign and his wish to campaign for a new EU referendum.

He has previously been an investment banker and a financial journalist at the Financial Times.

The AM100 Dinner is held on June 19 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
