New developments at this year’s AM100 Dinner will celebrate the ‘unsung heroes’ of dealer groups and the ‘rising stars’ across all motor retail industry companies.

As forms have now gone out to franchised dealer groups with £100m+ revenues likely to put them in the AM100, for the first time, the AM100 Dinner this June will feature three awards. And we’re now calling for entries for two of them.

AM100 dealer groups are invited to nominate their staff members who typically seek little recognition yet are pillars supporting the company’s success for The Unsung Hero Award.

And all motor retail sector companies – manufacturer national sales companies, dealers, repairers and suppliers – are invited to submit an entry for the Rising Star Award, which will celebrate developing talent in our industry.

The third award, Best Financial Performance, will recognise the most profitable of this year’s AM100 franchised dealer groups, and will be judged on the AM100 data we’ve receive.

“We’re always delighted to recognise the progress of the largest franchised dealer groups at our annual AM100 Dinner. Adding these awards will give highly-regarded members of staff in our industry some much-deserved recognition too,” said Tim Rose, editor of AM.

The deadline for entries is Friday, May 10, 2019. Entry forms are available from emma.bunce@bauermedia.co.uk

All entries received will be judged by the AM editorial team, and a shortlist of finalists will be published on the morning before the AM100 Dinner on AM-online.

The AM100 Dinner is being held on June 19 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, near the NEC.
