Ford dealer group TrustFord is expanding its footprint with the acquisition of a Ford dealership from Islington Motor Group in Trowbridge.
As part of the deal, TrustFord has also secured the Ford franchise for new cars, commercial vehicles, and servicing across the Trowbridge and Westbury areas.
The site officially rebranded as TrustFord and began operations under its new ownership on 12 July. Existing staff from both Trowbridge and Westbury have joined the TrustFord network and are currently undergoing specialist training to align with the company’s systems, processes, and customer-focused ethos.
The dealership has refreshed its vehicle stock and now offers the group’s signature TrustFord NOW service, allowing customers to drive away selected vehicles the same day. Additional services such as Choose It Now and Bring It To Me NOW enable customers to reserve and receive used vehicles from across the TrustFord network at their nearest site.
The site provides a full range of services including new and used car sales, Motability, commercial vehicle sales, fleet support, and Mobile Servicing. A 15-bay workshop on site offers servicing, MOTs, repairs, tyre replacement, and vehicle health checks for all makes and models.
Commenting on the expansion, Stuart Mustoe, chief executive of TrustFord, said: “We’re always looking for ways to invest in our business, and the acquisition of this new site and the Trowbridge and Westbury franchise represents our desire to bring the TrustFord experience to even more customers.
“I’m delighted the site is now operating as TrustFord following a smooth transition, and I look forward to visiting and meeting the team in person in the coming days.”
