Ron Brooks to open third OJ dealership as brand hits record market share

Ron Brooks Motor Group is opening its third Omoda and Jaecoo dealership in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, cementing the group’s position as one of the biggest partners for the rapidly growing brands.

The new site, which will operate initially from a temporary location in time for the September plate change, will join existing Omoda and Jaecoo centres in Derby and Leicester. A purpose-built dealership is also underway.

“As one of the original partners to bring the stylish and premium Omoda and Jaecoo brands to the UK, we’re incredibly proud to be expanding again,” said the business. “This move fits our strategy of scaling meaningful partnerships and pushes us beyond £150 million in projected annual revenue.”

The expansion comes as Omoda and Jaecoo UK records its strongest performance yet. According to the latest Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) figures, the brands achieved a combined 2.71% UK market share in July, up from 2.1% in June with 1,874 Omoda and 1,915 Jaecoo vehicles registered last month.

Recent milestones include 10,000 UK orders for the newly launched Jaecoo 7 since January, and continued momentum for the Omoda 5, Omoda E5, and premium Omoda 9 SHS. The upcoming Jaecoo 5 (ICE and EV), Omoda 7, and Jaecoo 8 are expected to fuel further growth.
