Marshall Motor Group, No22 in the AM100, has developed an impressive and user-friendly website. The graphics are simple while the layout is logical and reasonably intuitive to use.
A 'car' icon leads visitors to a broad range of services including a buyers' guide, valuation, budget calculator, a full search facility of new and used cars, finance, test drive booking and special offers.
An insurance section links to a separate online insurer website called 'Quote and Buy' where users can purchase insurance as part of Marshall Insurance services.
The service section of the site allows users to book servicing and valeting. Visitors can check the service interval on their make and model of car and browse a range of special offers from the service department. Handy facilities include an area where users can check the appropriate oil levels and tyre pressures.
Unfortunately the 'e shop' is still under development, but in future buyers will be able to buy online a range of goods from accessories to clothing. A separate handy dealer locator lists each franchise and locates them on a well-illustrated map.
The parts facility is the only weak element on the site, simply informing users that Marshall Motor Group has a parts centre.
This website was built after extensive research of what users require out of the internet. It even includes a light-hearted 'fun' section which has a simple interactive game and images of various cars.
The number of facilities is almost overwhelming and makes for an excellent site, with plenty to keep visitors occupied. Highly recommended.
