Toyota is celebrating the 50th birthday of the Land Cruiser launch with the launch of a limited Anniversary edition, just 50 of which will initially be available in the UK.

In addition to the high level of equipment in the Land Cruiser Amazon VX model, the Anniversary edition has a multi-function colour screen displaying information on air conditioning, temperature, audio controls and selections on the radio, cassette and six CD autochanger and a full colour DVD voice guidance navigation system.

It also features an ivory leather interior, specially selected wood trim and chrome effect alloy wheels and an Anniversary badge fitted to the rear pillars.

The special edition model (pictured) is priced £46,845 for the 4.2-litre turbo diesel model and £46,145 for the 4.7-litre V8 petrol, including a three year/60,000 mile warranty. The Anniversary model is available now.
