iXM and eBay in automotive website partnership

Online trading operation eBay has launched a partnership with Interactive Exchange and Mart (iXM) to launch eBay Motors on the UK site.

With 50% of UK car buyers predicted to be online by 2003, eBay and iXM are focussing on the £29.2 billion turnover European used car market, offering a dedicated service to small businesses and individuals who are interested in buying or selling cars.

eBay Motors will feature cars for auction as well as collector's cars, parts, accessories, motorbikes, cherished numbers, toy cars and motoring memorabilia.

Users wishing to trade can access the listings by visiting either (www.ixm.co.uk) or going directly to ebay.co.uk/ebaymotors.

Justine Wyness, iXM marketing manager said: "We're extremely excited about the new auction partnership, eBay are market leaders and an excellent match to our brand. This is another way for ixM to service our customer's needs whilst giving users a fun and enjoyable auction experience."
