Volvo Car UK Limited is restructuring its corporate sales operation to build on its current success in the fleet market and prepare for further growth.

Effective from today, this reorganisation involves several changes within senior management.

Ken Anders, previously dealer operations manager, replaces Alistair Murray and takes up the new role of national sales manager, heading up the corporate sales operation whilst retaining responsibility for used car sales and the co-ordination of all consumer offers.

He said: “I have worked in dealer operations for a number of years and am really looking forward to driving corporate sales into a period of growth over the coming years.”

Alistair Murray is moving to regional operations manager, with responsibility for the north of England, Wales and Scotland.

Supporting Mr Anders in his new role, the new corporate sales team includes: Ian Rendle, formerly the dealer performance manager for Scotland, the north east and Yorkshire, joins the sales team as corporate sales manager.

His responsibilities involve the management of a team of seven account development managers, the handling of all fleet and corporate accounts and the dealer business centre programme. Mr Rendle replaces Richard McCully who, after 13 years within the corporate sales team, becomes dealer performance manager for the south west of England and South Wales.

John Wallace continues in the position of leasing and rental manager.

Peter Cody remains special vehicles manager with responsibility for all sales of Volvo police cars, ambulances, hearses, limousines and armoured vehicles.
