Next year's British International Motor Show was launched yesterday by the SMMT, which promises the event will be a 'mouth watering' event bringing together the very best of the motor industry to the heart of England.

The show takes place from October 23 to November 3 at the Birmingham NEC with public able to visit from October 24. Motor sport days will be on November 1 and 2.

In the run-up to the show regular updates on attractions and exhibitors will be available on the new website, www.motorshow.co.uk.

Tickets will be available online.

The SMMT says that 300 companies and organisations have already signed up to exhibit.
