Dealer giant Lookers has completed its takeover of the Birmingham market area for Vauxhall with the purchase of Elt Brothers, a privately owned retaler in Yardley, south of the city centre.

The new acquisition - for just short of £900,000 - means Lookers now owns four Vauxhall outlets in the Brimingham area after it bought Rystar Aston, Rystar Selly Oak and the 452 Motor Co earlier this year.

The new business will trade as Lookers Elts and will nbe managed by Karl Hamer, recently appointed franchise director for Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham.

“We will now be working to integrate the four businesses in the region and invest their future to provide the best levels of customer service under our 'Customers for Life' philosophy,' says Lookers chairman Fred Maguire.
