Daewoo's all-new Nubira saloon will debut at the Geneva Motor Show from 6 to 16 March.

It will enter UK showrooms in late summer with a choice of either a 1.6 (80 kW/109bhp) or 1.8-litre engine (90 kW/122bhp).

Daewoo will also be showcasing its new Scope, a sporty, all-terrain concept vehicle that was first seen as the Oto at the 2002 Seoul Motor Show in Korea. The Scope is powered by a transverse, aluminium, 2.5-litre, in-line six-cylinder engine.

"Within only a few months of establishing our new company, we have launched two new cars and a range of new engines, bringing together an attractive new product line-up with wide ranging appeal," says Andy Carroll, GM Daewoo UK managing director.
