The Commission for Integrated Transport has launched a website devoted to guiding and helping motorists affected by the forthcoming congestion charge in central London.

The site, www.cfit.gov.uk/congestioncharging/index.htm aims to provide a comprehensive and objective reference for what is congestion charging issues but also seeks to provide an information resource – and focus of debate – for other road use charging methods.

CfIT chairman David Begg says: “Our website aims to inform and stimulate this debate with an objective, accessible and developing reference. No matter what their perspective on congestion charging and the UK's transport needs, I hope that visitors will discover a valuable source of information.”
