Citroën’s first online auction conducted by BCA linked the company’s network of approved used car dealers to a physical auction, saw 120 cars from across the range achieve a 100% sale conversion, and record prices averaging 114% of CAP Clean.

Held at BCA’s Measham auction centre, the success of the sale was in part attributed to Citroën’s approved used car dealers being able to watch proceedings live via the internet and bid remotely against buyers in the auction hall.

Michael Brown, head of vehicle remarketing for Citroën UK, says: “Our Approved dealers really appreciated the convenience of bidding live on the internet for top quality ready to retail product. The success of this new format rounded off a marvellous month, which saw Citroën become one of BCA’s best performing manufacturers in terms of stock turnover and sales performance versus book.”

Citroën is set to repeat the live online auction experience for its approved dealers on the October 22 at BCA Measham.
