Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port plant has rolled out its four million unit.

A 1.6-litre Astra was the four millionth vehicle to roll off the production line at the Cheshire factory.

The factory is now one of the largest employers in Cheshire and Wirral employing 3,500 workers and makes nearly 185,000 vehicles a year, half of which are exported.
