Concept Vehicle Leasing has opened a high street retail operation, scoring a first for the industry in the process.

The 800sq ft triple-fronted retail outlet in Surbiton, Surrey, offers both business and private customers the chance to choose leasing options in a fresh, welcoming and informal environment, which is tailored to their needs.

Paul Bulloch, managing director of Concept Vehicle Leasing says: “We’re one of very few intermediaries who trade from an outlet environment and we believe our particular approach is unique to the sector.

“We have designed everything to centre around the customers so they are able to make informed choices in a relaxed atmosphere.”

Bulloch says that rather than being in direct competition with motor retailers, the company has had a lot of support from local dealers in the build-up to opening the outlet.

He says: “The beauty of these partnerships means that we can arrange a test drive with the appropriate dealer there and then, providing a really immediate service for the customer.”

Giant plasma screens, staff using wireless laptops while chatting to customers in the dedicated reception area and Concept branded polo shirts are all part of the new Concept Vehicle Leasing experience.

The company expects to see an increase in business of about 30%-40% from the outlet over their previous premises in Morden, Surrey.
