More than 3,000 new candidates signed up for IMI qualifications in November at the institute’s 350 approved assessment centres.
Alan Mackrill, IMI director of learning and skills, said: “The introduction of on-line services, including registration, certificate claims and e-assessment, has allowed the IMI to greatly enhance its customer service and administration processes.”
As well as further growing its student population, the IMI is planning to introduce a new membership package this year specifically aimed at young people aged 25 and under.
