Mini’s new Cooper and Cooper S will go on sale this weekend and all 154 Mini dealerships are holding launch events across the UK.

The have already been 4,000 orders for the new car, equally the number achieved in the lead up to the launch of the first generation Mini in 2001.

Despite looking quite similar to the previous model, the new Mini has been completely rebuilt and has new engines.

Prices start at £12,995 on-the-road for the Cooper and £15,995 OTR for the Cooper S. The original Mini tlc service pack for five years or 50,000 miles is still available on the new car, at the same £150.
