Saab has introduced a new concept car revealing its future design direction.

The two-seater sports coupé named the 'Aero X' has no doors or windscreen pillars. The Aero X adopts a cockpit canopy which lifts up all in one. It is powered by a 400bhp, twin-turbo, BioPower V6 engine.

"This concept shows the possibilities that are open to us as we evolve a more progressive design language for the Saab brand," says Jan Ake Jonsson, Saab Automobile's managing director.
