London-based Deejay Accident Repair Centres is being sold to Norwich Union’s own bodyshop division, Solus.

Staff from Deejay’s three sites in Tottenham, Finchley and Wood Green are due to be informed of the move at a meeting this lunchtime. The sale will increase the Solus repair centre network to 12 locations in London and East Anglia, and boost its turnover to around £45m.

Solus began advertising last year for bodyshop managers to help it “take its body repair model to other parts of the UK”. Most of its centres carry out repairs exclusively for Norwich Union.
