Jaguar Cars has been awarded the Gold Award Quality Mark by BEN, the Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund.

The award was presented to Bibiana Boerio, managing director of Jaguar Cars by Gerard Barclay, chief executive of BEN.

The Gold Award is only awarded to a handful of employers who have succeeded in generating sustainable income sources for UK charities, such as BEN, through Payroll Giving.

Gold Award winning organisations qualify by achieving a 10% employee take-up of Payroll Giving and support the scheme by matching donations or by actively promoting the scheme to staff.

Boerio, said: "We are delighted to receive this award. At Jaguar we have a long history of community involvement within which payroll plays a key role. Over 20% of our staff contribute to payroll giving which brings in over £35,000 of extra income to causes which our employees wish to support."
