The Beta Group has announced a six-figure investment in its nationwide sales and service teams as it aims to double sales in air filters and service operations over the next five years to achieve turnover of £5m.

“To support this expansion we’ve invested heavily in our nationwide teams as well as the new business software system,” says Martin Lewis, managing director of the Beta Group.

Under the Beta Automotive banner, the company claims a major market share in the automotive finishing sector, although it won’t give details. It plans to increase share while further expansion will focus on its industrial finishing business and heating, ventilation and air conditioning sector.

A further consequence of the investment is that all Beta Automotive customers, whether interested in equipment service or filter supply, will now have a dedicated customer service contact. This was not possible under its previous structure.
