Citroen’s C-Metisse concept will be revealed to the world in Paris later this month.

The new concept has a top speed of 155mph, but can also manage 45mpg, according to Citroen. It also has gull wing doors for the front and rear.

The C-Metisse is powered by an HDi V6 diesel engine, coupled with a diesel particulate filter system, and two separate electric motors on the rear wheels, capable of developing 400Nm of additional torque. The car can run on a zero-emissions mode for city driving.

The Paris Motor Show starts on September 30 and runs until October 15
