The charity week, which runs from July 16-23, is encouraging automotive and related industry employees from all over the country to join in the celebrations with their own fund raising activities.
Among the many companies already signed up to take part in the celebrations are British Car Auctions, who are donating £1 for every car sold through their centres during the week and undertaking numerous fundraising initiatives.
Lifestyle Europe Limited have also joined in and are asking staff to buy a £2 raffle ticket in return for an extra day’s holiday.
Charles Davis, who recently joined BEN as director of fundraising and communications, said: “National BEN Week plays a vital role in raising our profile across the industry as well as generating much needed income for BEN.
“Every penny counts, for example by raising just £180, our supporters could enable our welfare team to purchase a wheelchair for a beneficiary with limited mobility.”
