Bristol Street Motors has officially opened its new £5 million Ford dealership in Stoke-on-Trent.

The launch was led by Nigel Sharp, sales director of Ford of Britain, who was joined by over 150 guests for a champagne reception to celebrate the event.

The dealership has been developed to the latest Ford design standards and sits on a four-acre site. It features a 12 car showroom, Ford parts department, Ford business centre, 15 bay service and MoT workshop as well as a 15 bay bodyshop. There is also space for a 150 used car display.

The completion of the Stoke dealership brings to a close the final phase of a construction programme in Staffordshire and Cheshire, which began with the redevelopment of Bristol Street’s Stafford and Crewe dealerships and represents a total investment of almost £11.7m in the region.

Mark Hamer, Bristol Street group managing director, said: “In order to achieve our ambitious growth targets it was clear we had to move our existing operation to a larger site. The new dealership is one of the largest dealerships in the Bristol Street Group and highlights the level of confidence the company has in the Ford brand as well as the region.

“A genuine customer focus is at the heart of Bristol Street’s recent investment programme. The new buildings reflect the company’s modern and professional approach to doing business and will bring in new buyers and increase volume sales.”
