Vines Group has invested £4.5 million in a new BMW and Mini dealership and repair centre in Guilford.

Mark Hollands, Vines Guildford dealer principal, said: “This development means that we can display a greater selection of new and used cars. Our old BMW showroom allowed us to display just four new BMW models, whereas our new facility means that we can now show 16 new BMWs.

“The construction of a standalone Mini showroom means that the number of new Minis displayed rises from two to six. The larger showroom arrives just in time for the expansion of the Mini range.”

The BMW and Mini servicing and aftersales facilities have a 20 bay car workshop and a nine bay BMW Motorrad motorcycle servicing department.

The Guildford site also has a single lane MoT car and motorcycle testing station with direct online links to the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency.

Hollands adds: “Land is expensive here in Surrey and in order to keep the area occupied by our site to a minimum, our parts department is completely computerised.

“Parts are picked from our stores and delivers them directly to our parts reception. We also had to build upwards and our customer and staff parking is catered for by our new multi-story car park.”
