Autodex has acquired three sites from the Whites Group from an undisclosed sum, taking the total number of centres owned by the company to 11.

The three new accident repair sites are in Croydon, Wimbledon and Reading and will all be rebranded with Autodex’s corporate identity. All staff will be retrained according to Autodex standards.

Richard Fagan, managing director of Autodex, said: “Our three new sites are all first class facilities each with their own highly skilled workforce. The Croydon site was subject to an extensive £500,000 refurbishment in January of this year.

Fagan said the acquisitions were part of Autodex’s planned expansion for this year and 2008. He added that the company would be looking to open additional sites in the east and north of London.
