Sales of Ford cars with sub 120g/km CO2 emissions are up 38% this year, UK managing director Roelant de Waard told journalists at the British Motor Show this week.

He claims that 80,000 tonnes of CO2 would be saved if every Ford driver switched to an Eco model.

According to Ford mystery shopping, 92% of its dealers are displaying environmental labels correctly.

It is finding that customers are more aware of green issues and are choosing smaller cars.
