How did you get into the automotive business?

I had a knack for fixing things and mum said I should go to college and study.

What does your job entail?

Everything – accounts, working out a new operating system for the workshop, admin and now sales, marketing, business plans, spreadsheets and staff training. Of course, I do have help.

How will your job change over the next few years?

Faster communications will impact on all of us. I would like to learn more about our industry and business and work more with other companies.

Previous jobs?

I worked as a race team leader and built a race car.

What advice would you give to youngsters joining the industry?

Work hard no matter what you do at the start but learn from everything you do.

What keeps you awake at night?

Not much.

No one specifically.
