Jaguar Land Rover will keep its three factories in the UK.

The company had originally said in September 2009 one of its factories in Castle Bromwich or in Solihull would have to close within 10 years.

However, JLR managed to make a deal with union Unite to secure 7,000 jobs.

As a result, the factories in Halewood, Solihull and Castle Bromwich will remain open.

JLR are now on a recruitment drive to find 1,500 new employees at its Halewood plant to build its Range Rover Evoque model.
