Mitsubishi Motors UK has appointed 13 electric vehicle sales centres across the UK to sell its i-Miev.
In addition, Mitsubishi’s 118-strong dealer network have been appointed as electric vehicle service centres to make sure there’s national coverage for EV aftersales.
Each dealership will get specialist tools and manufacturer training for the service and maintenance of electric vehicles.
Sales centres will have two employees that are trained specifically to sell the i-Miev and Mitsubishi’s future EV products.
The nominated EV sales centre personnel will undertake a training programme to understand the demands and requirements of electric vehicles for consumers. They will also receive training to understand the wider industry issues relating to the EV marketplace.
All Mitsubishi EV sales centres will offer one stock vehicle for showroom display and two demonstrator vehicles that will be available for potential customers to use on a longer term basis so that they can experience what it is like to drive and ‘own’ an electric vehicle in real-life conditions. In addition a fully functioning charging bay will also be available.
The 13 nominated EV sales centres, which includes the Mitsubishi Electric Vehicle Centre in London, are:
