Nationwide Accident Repair Services has said  that its 2010 financial results are expected to be at the upper end of market forecasts.

The publicly listed crash repair group, headed by chief executive Michael Wilmshurst, retains a strong balance sheet with zero debt, said its pre-close trading update.

2010 saw the group launch mobile repair and windscreen operations, targeting fleet and retail customers. Its sites increasingly offer MoT, servicing and tyre replacement as well as their traditional crash repair work.

Nationwide said it has continued to make good progress with its growth strategy.

Its board expects to announce preliminary results for 2010 on March 29.
