Mitsubishi Motors has signed up to the Motor Codes new car code and will now publish its customer ratings for its dealer network online.

The moves come as part of Mitsubishi’s recent customer satisfaction drive and the Motor Codes new car code was seen as a “natural step”.

Sharon Townsend, general manager –service at Mitsubishi, said: “Customer expectation is higher than ever and the quality of the overall customer experience must match that of the product.

“In today’s fast-moving online retail environment, the ability for customers to access real-time reviews and obtain independent feedback is important.

“Through its motorist advice line and service and repair reviews, Motor Codes complements our own Excellent Service initiatives, helping to increase customer confidence levels.”

Motor Codes provides motorists with three sets of service level expectations, relating to new car sales, car service and repair and vehicle warranty products.

It also offers an advice line, with free conciliation service for motorists, acting as an independent intermediary where the need might arise.

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has a network of 138 (including service only sites) dealers.
