Citroen tempts consumers with DS5 prize Facebook promotion

Citroen has launched a competition for a consumer to win a DS5 test drive weekend in the south of France.

The Facebook competition forms part of the carmaker's pre-launch promotion of the latest model in its premium DS range, and will generate data and leads for the network, plus social media exposure.

It will reward five winners and a guest with a five-star weekend trip to St. Tropez in the south of France and the chance to be among one of the first to get behind the wheel of New Citroën DS5.

The weekend will follow the theme of ‘The Refined, Redefined’ – New DS5’s promotional strapline – with the winners taking part in fun and distinctive experiences.

The winners will also be filmed at various stages throughout the weekend so they can present their own video reviews of the car.

Users enter the competition, via a ‘DS5 Star Experience’ tab on Citroën UK’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/citroenuk).

In a seperate move, Citroen is promoting the contract hire deals available on its light commercial vehicles (LCVs) through Citroen Contract Motoring in 2012.

Scott Michael, Citroën’s commercial vehicle operations manager, said: "As part of our ongoing ‘Citroën Vans - Business Class’ initiative, we have started 2012 with a range of extremely competitive first quarter CCM contract hire offers.

"These rates enable customers to cut costs and reduce their carbon footprint in an affordable manner, thanks to Citroën’s ‘5 Star’ Euro 5 LCV Programme - our complete approach to reduce CO2 emissions and improve the fuel efficiency."
