Vauxhall franchisee Eden Motor Group has invested in a bespoke web presence for its Chevrolet operation.

The Chevrolet site marks the start of a wave of digital investment for the group, with new websites and functionality to follow in early 2013.

Its original website went live five years ago.

Eden, headed by managing director Graeme Potts and which recently opened its first shared Ford, Vauxhall and Chevrolet authorised repair site in Bracknell, bought from AA Clark, wants the new portal to help increase the Eden Chevrolet brand’s reach and recognition in a very competitive digital arena.

Potts said: "It has never been more vital to make your mark in the virtual world. We needed to create a separate look and feel for our Chevrolet brand and help boost SEO at the same time.

"By linking all our three websites – Chevrolet, Vauxhall and our Eden Motor Group page, we retain our group synergy whilst at the same time forging an individual identity by brand.

"The expansion of the franchise within our group provided the perfect opportunity to further develop our web showcase and digital presence. It forms part of our focus on the digital arena where we are concentrating our efforts into ensuring the Eden name becomes synonymous with Vauxhall and Chevrolet in the regions in which we operate."

The website – www.edenchevrolet.co.uk - has been created by Eden’s digital partner, Progress Automotive Solutions, which last year added online service bookings to Eden's existing online facilities.

Eden and Progress have also recently developed an Eden Group landing page, which provides links to its various websites, as it continues to expand its portfolio of dealerships - most recently with Camberley Vauxhall from Charters, and Branksome and Christchurch sites with Vauxhall and Chevrolet franchises from Seward (Wessex) administrators.
