What Car? has named its ‘Best Buys For Brits In 2013’ with vehicles to suit virtually any budget.

Some of the key category winners were: Hyundai i10 (City car for less than £9k), Dacia Sandero (Supermini for less than £12k), Skoda Superb (Family car for less than £18k) and Mazda CX-5 (SUV for under £25k).

What Car? makes great play of its ‘Target Price’, suggesting that if selling dealers won't match it, they can find a dealer who will.

What Car? editor-in-chief Chas Hallett commented: “We hope that naming Britain’s best cars so early in the year will help car buyers decide what car is best for them.
