Vertu Motors has appointed Gary Ranson as its new general manager for its Macklin Motors Peugeot dealership in Paisley.
Ranson, who joined the Peugeot dealership in January this year, has 30 years' experience in the Scottish motor trade, after joining as a sales executive in 1983.
He has held national and regional management positions for several car retailers and will oversee all aspects of the business at the Saturn Avenue dealership, located at Phoenix Retail Park.
He said: "I believe strongly in delivering excellent customer service and think the sales team at the dealership offers an in-depth knowledge of the brand.
"I'm enjoying working with everyone here and helping customers find the ideal car for them."
