Ingram Skoda in Ayr, Heritage Skoda in Yeovil and Alex Lawrie Skoda in Liverpool have all been presented with Skoda Retailer of the Year titles.

The manufacturer’s annual prize-giving ceremony, this year held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Friday 21 March, recognised “outstanding all-round business performance in 2013” across 11 categories.

Other big winners were Vindis Skoda in Cambridge, for fleet sales, and Meadens Skoda in Lymington, for used car sales.

Alasdair Stewart, brand director at Skoda UK, said: “I would like to congratulate the winners on their awards, and thank all of the retailers for their continued hard work and dedication.

“I'm confident that, together, we can make 2014 another record-breaking year.

“Sales of new Skoda vehicles reached a very impressive 66,000 units in 2013, compared to 53,200 for the previous 12 months, a significant 24% increase.

“This is testament to the outstanding work of our retailers up and down the country.”
