Skoda and Volkswagen franchisee Trust Group UK is offering people the chance to win VIP tickets to the Tour de France by taking on Olympic champion cyclist Ed Clancy.

It is asking customers wishing to take part to make a donation to Cancer Research UK and complete a time trial at any Trust Group dealership before April 25.

Then the final showdown will take place against gold medal winner Clancy at the Trust Škoda Wolverhampton dealership on April 26, where the top riders from each dealership will then compete in heats to race against Clancy.

The two fastest riders will each win a VIP hospitality package to an alpine stage of this year’s Tour de France in July, including a ride with a previous winner of the Tour de France, view of the race from a helicopter and a drive to the finish line in a Škoda.

Andrew Hockedy, managing director of Trust Group UK, said: “It’s a great cause so come down, post your time on our leader board and see how good you are.”

Trust Group UK, which has three dealerships based in the Midlands selling Volkswagens and Škoda and is headed by managing director Andrew Hockedy, is also offering those entering the competition a chance to win a Škoda Rapid Spaceback.
