Gareth Lewis has been appointed the role of aftersales manager at Sinclair Volkswagen Neyland, bringing with him over 24 years’ experience in the automotive industry.
He will head a team of 24 aftersales staff at the dealership in Pembrokeshire.
Lewis joined the industry at the age of 16 as a valeter and has progressed through the ranks, most recent as a service administrator for Sinclair's Audi and Mercedes dealerships.
He said: “I’ve always wanted to work in the motor trade, it’s the only thing I’ve ever known. Both my father and my grandfather were motor traders so it is something that comes naturally to me.
Mark Chesterton, brand manager, said: “Gareth’s experience and track record in the motor industry makes him ideal to lead the team forward and will ensure that our customers can continue to be confident that they are our number one priority.”
As editor, Tim is responsible for the media content, planning and production of AM's multiple channels (AM print and digital magazines, website, social media and contributing to our events planning). He interviews and writes about as many franchised dealer groups and UK divisions of motor manufacturers as possible, to explore the issues facing UK motor retail and understand what solutions dealers and suppliers are using to overcome these.
