The AA has launched its own online service designed to help motorists maintain all aspects of their vehicle ownership.

The free Automyze service requires a valid email address and number plate information before customers can access tax, MoT, insurance, vehicle servicing and repair service records from the cloud.

The Automyze ‘personal assistant’ also lets users book their vehicle in for MoTs, servicing and repairs via the recently launched AA Garage Guide.

The Automyze service automatically adds MoT and tax due dates and sends vehicle owners reminders and alerts, as well as info for a vehicle’s MoT history going back 10 years.   The AA says the service also provides users with a ‘digital stamp’ of the work done – creating a digital service record.

The AA will be sending users special offers tailored to them and their vehicle(s).

Lucy Burnford, Automyze co-founder, said: “With Automyze, we’ve set out to transform the way people own and maintain their cars.

“We think of it as your vehicle’s own personal assistant, which looks after and securely stores its maintenance, repair and service records in one place and redefines the term “full service history”.

“There’s so much to remember when it comes to vehicle-related admin, but the way Automyze digitises it and is able to back-fill your car’s history really does remove the hassle.”
