VW introduces 0% APR finance on aftersales and accessories

Volkswagen UK has introduced a 0% APR finance payment option on aftersales work and accessories across the majority of its retail network.

The offer allows customers to spread the cost of servicing, MOTs, tyres and general maintenance and repairs, as well as accessories, with 0% interest and no fees.

Customers can choose between two options to help spread the cost: the first is to pay nothing on the day, and spread the cost over as many as three monthly instalments, while the second option requires a 25% initial payment up front, but allows up to six monthly instalments to complete payment. Both offers have minimum spend requirements of £60 and a maximum of £5,000.

Kevin Rendell, head of Aftersales at Volkswagen UK, said: “With our Retailers now re-open with plenty of safety precautions in place, and offers across our entire range of new cars, these finance offers are yet another way we’re making the lives of Volkswagen customers easier, and enhancing the affordability of Volkswagen ownership.

“The 0% offer allows drivers to spread the cost of accessories, maintenance, repairs and more, all with the reassurance of Volkswagen Retailer customer service. If customers are thinking of taking their families away in their Volkswagen this summer then our range of roof bars, bike carriers and tow bars will make it easier. Better still, they can now spread the cost to make it even more affordable.”

Jaguar Land Rover introduced a similar interest free payment option for aftersales work across its retail network in July.

In addition to the 0% finance offered on aftersales and accessories, Volkswagen customers can also enjoy the benefit of an extended payment period on service plans. A 24-month, interest-free period builds upon the conditions set out by the previous, 18-month plan. This extension brings the monthly cost of a service plan down to £8.29, with the assurance and quality of care built in.
