Carwow's top digital and audience expert has left the automotive marketplace to join Bauer Media, the company which owns Automotive Management.
Amrit Baidwan spent the last four years at Carwow where she rose from digital brand director through director of audience growth and engagement and to her most recent role as global media operations and audience director, in which she led the launch last year of a new digital commerce proposition for Auto Express.
She is joining Bauer Media in the role of general manager for digital publishing (UK) to oversee all commercial aspects of its digital publishing business in the UK, which includes the consumer car buying platform Parkers and the company car specialist brand Fleet News as well as Automotive Management.
Baidwan is a talented digital leader who has developed and executed digital strategies for top brands including Auto Express, Carwow, Carbuyer and EVO. She has led high-performing teams, is a strong collaborator, and is the co-chair of the Association of Online Publishers' audience development steering group.
At Carwow she worked closely alongside senior colleagues including chief executive John Veichmanis and chief commercial officer Sally Foote and spent some time visiting dealer groups alongside Foote in 2024 when Carwow's SellMyCar stock sourcing platform reached its third birthday.
Bauer Media said: "Amrit's extensive experience in driving digital strategies will be an advantage as we continue to lay the groundwork for future growth."
