Motorline has opened its newly-completed Nissan and Peugeot dealerships in Gillingham following a £7.5m investment in the 35,000sq-ft development.

Group chairman Glen Obee said he was “delighted” to have completed the two new dealerships on time at the heart of the Gillingham Business Park.

Obee said: “We have amended our original plans for the development to be able to include the very latest new retail environments for both Peugeot and Nissan which offer our existing and new customers the opportunity to enjoy two of the most impressive motor retail facilities in the Medway territory and Kent region.”

The new Nissan and Peugeot showroom development totals 35,000 square feet and stands on a 2.5-acre corner site on the Gillingham Business Park.

Motorline anticipates selling around 2,500 new and used vehicles per year from the location, making it one of the largest volume dealerships in the area.

The group is targeting further growth in 2017 with the completion of two more new dealership developments for Nissan and Skoda which are currently in build on a green filed site at The Bridge, Dartford.

The family-owned dealer Group currently operates 43 dealerships covering the South East, South West and Midlands with a group turnover for 2017 budgeted at £630m employing over 1,350 staff.
