The motor industry is rallying to support BCA’s ‘Paris challenge’ charity bike ride.

The 400km bike challenge, in aid of ‘Action for A-T’ a charity for  A-T or Ataxia Telangiectasia, a rare genetic degenerative childhood disease.

The bike ride, taking place in September, will depart from BCA Blackbushe and finish at a BCA remarketing centre in Paris.

The aim is to raise £30,000 to fund research into treating A-T.  A team of 40 participating riders will tackle the gruelling event, with cyclists from BCA and the wider motor industry taking part.

Sponsors include Toyota and Renault from the manufacturing sector, as well as leasing companies ALD, LexAutolease, LeasePlan and Olgivie and some of the biggest dealer groups in the country including Arnold Clark, Vertu, Marshall Group, Motorline, Halliwell Jones, Jardine, Ancaster, JCT600, Lookers and  TC Harrison. 

Insurers Aston Scott and Secure Valeting are also backing the event, while Thrifty have committed to providing support vehicles for the event.
