TrustFord has been recognised for its commitment to carbon reduction with a fourth consecutive win in the Green Apple Awards.

The Ford-owned AM100 dealer group scooped the award for a fourth consecutive year and is now eligible to become a Green World Ambassador, representing the company and the UK in the Green World Awards 2018.

Stuart Foulds, chairman and chief executive at TrustFord, said: “The award win is testament to our continued dedication to environmental best practice at TrustFord.

“It’s a real honour to be recognised this way by the highly respected Green Organisation.

“We pride ourselves on our environmental credentials, and will continue to build on these in the future, to ensure we’re doing all we can to protect our precious environment.”

The Green Apple Environment Awards were launched in 1994 by The Green Organisation and have become established as one of the most popular global environmental campaigns.

The awards celebrate organisations that have made a positive impact on the environment and are working to improve sustainability.

In August 2015, TrustFord became the first and only automotive dealership to receive the Good Corporation Standard accreditation.

This was awarded in recognition for its ongoing commitment to transparency and exceptional business practice.

The Good Corporation is a hugely respected organisation that only accredits select companies that demonstrate a strong ethical culture and responsible management practices.
