Batchelors Motor Group has expanded its business to business and corporate sales operations with the appointment of new corporate account manager Andy Wooley.

Following the official opening of its new Suzuki franchise on Ings Lane, Nether Poppleton, near York, this month, the Ripon-based Suzuki and Mitsubishi retailer has set its sights on further growth through its business sales.

It said that Wooley’s appointment had come in response to Suzuki’s commitment to offering a “Fit for Fleet” vehicle line-up to business customers, coupled with the brand’s target to sell 50% more cars per year within the Fleet sector by 2020.

Wooley said: “I am very pleased to be joining Batchelors at a time of rapid expansion, with the opening of the new Suzuki dealership in York and the launch of a Buy Online platform.

“I intend to form an integral part of the company’s exciting long-term growth strategy within the corporate market by strengthening the presence of Batchelors Fleet Sales and to champion the compelling values of our low cost of ownership proposition to today’s Fleet customers.

“Our company motto is TLC not PLC. This commitment to first class customer service is a feature of Batchelors which I am delighted to offer to our Business customers.”

Covering York, Harrogate, Ripon, Bedale and the surrounding areas, Wooley comes to Batchelors continuing a successful career in car sales.

Prior to which he ran his own business giving him a thorough understanding of business vehicle cost implications and user’s requirements.

Batchelors said in a statement that he would be responsible for growing and developing excellent Business to Business relationships through networking events and on-site visits to prospective and existing customer accounts throughout the region.
