Batchelors Motor Group claims to have become the first Suzuki GB franchisee to launch its own online retail solution for new and used vehicle sales.

The new website functionality has been made possible after a “significant investment” in the Group’s website in early 2018, alongside the opening of Suzuki York, the group said in a statement.

Batchelors Motor Group’s managing director, Tony Denton, said the investment was done to future proof the business, and is hoped to become more prevalent in the years to come.

‘’Buy Online is something which I have wanted to create for a very long time,” said Denton.

“Times are changing in our industry and our own research shows that our customers are willing to fully transact online.

"It is important that I future-proof my business from every angle.

"Sean and the team from The Whole Caboodle have adopted the brief in every way and overcome technical challenges which we have raised’’

The Whole Caboodle’s digital director, Sean Dyson, said ‘’A car is a big item to purchase online and still relatively new for the world of e-commerce.

"Creating an experience which covers its complexities in a way which feels easy and safe for the customer is a big challenge.

“We’re really pleased with the end result which marries an ultra-clean user interface to a sophisticated back-end to provide a simple step-by-step process.

"It creates a glimpse of the future for car retailers and we’re super excited to be involved with such the forward-thinking team at Batchelors.’’

The Batchelors Buy Online System is now live online.
