JCB Group is handing out 1,000 branded sanitiser packs in an attempt to reassure its sales and service customers entering its dealerships in the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Today (July 24) marks the start of Government legislation that demands face masks are worn by customers visiting retail environments across England.

And the Kent-based AM100 retail group has taken the decision to give a free pack containing hand and surface sanitiser to customers as part of its efforts to boost confidence that health and safety are at the forefront of its thinking in the new trading environment.

The pack is produced by paint protection specialist Jewelultra - the producer of Diamondbrite products - which switched its manufacturing efforts over to the production of hand and surface sanitisers after car dealers became subject to the COVID-19 lockdown back in March.

JCB Group managing director, Jonathan Bischoff, said: “When the COVID crisis hit and Diamondbrite switched production to making hand and surface sanitisers it seemed the natural thing to do was to get them to supply a sanitiser pack alongside the usual products we purchase from them.

“It is vital that our customers and staff are confident that our business is doing everything it can to keep the workplace safe and to enforce this.

“We give every customer via sales and aftersales a free sanitiser pack and the feedback has been extremely positive.”

Jewelultra obtained approval from the World Health Organisation (WHO) to sell the its santisation products and gave away products to the NHS, schools and hospices, while supplying its new line to car retail groups including Jardine Motors, Hartwell and Cambria.

Jewelultra marketing director, Lance Bosley, said: “Jonathan Bischoff wanted to go one step further and brand the pack with their logo and give one away to every sales and service customer.

“Once we’d agreed on the volume and design this was easy to do.”
