Family-owned Grays of Holbeach in Lincolnshire has added the SsangYong franchise.
The business has added the franchise following on from Mitsibishi’s decision to exit the UK and Europe earlier this year.
Grays is in its third generation as a family business and has been serving the Lincolnshire community since 1953.
It is also one of Mitsubishi’s longest standing dealers, representing the brand since 1978.
Jon Gray, dealer principal at Grays of Holbeach, said: “We’re experts in the delivery of SUVs, large or small, and pick-up trucks, so we believe we’re a perfect fit for this partnership with SsangYong.”
Kevin Griffin, managing director at SsangYong Motors UK, said earlier this year the Korean brand is moving to its “next phase of development”, including the introduction of pure electric vehicles.
SsangYong added 10 new franchisees in the first half of 2020.
