Rimac Nevera makes UK debut at HR Owen

Rimac Automobili’s new all-electric hypercar, the Nevera, has arrived in London for the first stop on its global tour.

It is in the care of HR Owen London, the UK’s only official retailer of Rimac vehicles.

In the last week, the HR Owen team have hosted a series of exclusive static display and drive opportunities for potential Nevera customers.

Having roamed the Capital, the Nevera will be on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (on July 8-11).

Ken Choo, HR Owen's chief executive, said: “Since meeting Mate Rimac and the whole Rimac Automobili team two years ago, we have believed wholeheartedly in their vision. To finally now see the culmination of years of development, with the Nevera finally in our showroom and on the streets of London, is a very special moment.

“Led by the group chairman of Berjaya Corp Berhad, Vincent Tan, HR Owen has built a reputation for extraordinary attention-to-detail in customer service, just as Rimac has perfected every small detail on the Nevera. It’s the foundation for a great partnership between our brands.”

The Rimac Nevera produces 1,914PS from four electric motors and can accelerate from zero to 60mph in 1.85 seconds and to 100mph in just 4.3 seconds.

Only 150 Neveras will be made by Croatian automotive brand Rimac Automobili, costing around £1.8 million each.

The latest AM industry special issue

The complexity of running a modern dealership can be misunderstood easily by people looking in on our industry.

Any general manager has so many plates to spin, and they must foster a talented team that they can rely on to not just do the basics well, but to sprinkle some magic on top that customers can notice.

If the marketplace in 2023 is steadily returning to relative normality, this normality now includes the drive to find customers for an increasing supply of electric vehicles, and the need to source used cars from all channels and market them carefully. And of course there are the desires to delight consumers with an omnichannel experience and to hold on to decent margins after a couple of years of strong profitability.

The expectations of both the customer and the business’s stakeholder must be achieved to the optimum level.

In this special digital publication, industry experts, prominent suppliers and franchised dealers share their insights on the major aspects required in running a modern dealership well.
